That's all I have left. At 7:30 am on February 29th, I will be at the hospital getting hooked up to all sorts of drugs, and getting ready to have a baby. It can't come soon enough these days.
So think happy thoughts for us!

Of Course, It's At 3 AM
A nice little lunar eclipse is scheduled tonight, between 3 and 4 am. It will start a little earlier than that, but that's when it will be in total eclipse. The cool thing, is that we're supposed to get a cool red hue. Check out the information here.
Alright, I did a little more research, and found out that for us in CST, the eclipse will start just before 8 pm. Check it out here.

So What Does This Mean For Me??
Such an interesting article. I'm not sure whether to laugh, cry, or be depressed.
Depression More Common With Baby Boys
Post-Partum Depression More Common After Boys Born
A new study says giving birth to a boy is more likely to lower a woman's quality of life and raises her risk of post-partum depression.
A team from Univesite Nancy 2 in France found one-third of women had PPD four to eight weeks after giving birth. Three-quarters of those with depression had given birth to a boy.
Even those who were not clinically depressed felt that their quality of life had fallen more if they had a boy, lead author Professor Claude Tychey said. Lower quality-of-life scores were seen in 70 percent of the women with new sons.

"We also discovered that being a first-time mother had no effect on quality of life scores. Women had the same general scores regardless of whether the recent birth was their first or second baby," Tychey said.
"Previous studies have shown that women who live in cultures where greater value is placed on sons are more likely to suffer from (depression) if they give birth to a girl. However, we believe that this study -- carried out in a French community where women didn't face cultural pressures over the sex of their baby -- is the first to show that women who give birth to boys are more likely to suffer from severe (depression) and reduced quality of life," he said.

Family Pictures!!
Here are our family pictures we had done a few days ago. Sorry for the watermark thingy, I couldn't save them without that.
The first one is the one that we got as our main picture. The second one we got one sheet since everyone was looking happy, including Aaron (the little guy with the curlhawk), even though I'm looking down. Aaron had a double ear infection in both ears, so I'm glad these turned out as well as they did.
Once I figure out how to forward these or share the album I'll send some of you the link. For some reason it's not cooperating, so I have to wait for a response from the company.

Finally, Someone Has Some Guts
This is one of the few times when I think that suing the state might be a good idea.
The state of Wisconsin is being sued in federal court over a law designed to ensure fair competition among gas station owners.
The filing comes after a federal judge ruled in another lawsuit last year that the law is unconstitutional.
What amazes me is that while the federal judge found the law to be unconstitutional, it's still being enforced here. I think it's good that Flying J is suing the state, and hopefully it will result in some good change. We could use a little more competition for gas prices.
