Why We Homeschool 5

5. Would you want your child indoctrinated without your knowledge?

4. Who wouldn't want their child courted by a college because they were homeschooled?

3. Our children are less likely to have this happen.

2. Our children won't have to witness terrible crimes like this.

1. Our children are less likely to be sexually assaulted.

homeschooling made it easier for us to transition to life abroad! My kids did not have a "new school" to worry about!

I bet. I can't imagine going to school in another country. I visited some when I was in Ukraine, and it seemed so different.

Hi MommaBlogger!

I linked to your blog through Moms of Grace... I am so glad I have found you!

I have enjoyed getting to know you a bit through your posts (here and on MoG) - You and I seem to have a lot in common and share many of the same beliefs and convictions.

I totally and whole-hearted agree with the 5 reasons you have listed, so far, for homeschooling your precious charges... I look forward to reading any additions you make.

I recently posted a piece on the heart of why we homeschool our kiddos (we have two *school-age* and three younger, with one on the way) - Check it out if you get a chance. I am planning to follow up with a list of *non-religious* reasons why we have made this decision, which in the grand scheme of things, don't quite seem as significant as the Biblical reasons.

Anywho, I have bookmarked your blog and will be by often, I'm sure!

Blessings to you as you sharpen your little arrows!
